Upstate Colorado Economic Development offers several types of
assistance to companies looking to expand in or relocate to Weld
County. These include, but are not limited to:
- Building and land search
- Government advocacy
- Labor training resources
- Identification of financial resources
- Business planning
- Local and regional demographic information
- Municipal, county and state incentive packaging
- Financial assistance through two loan funds
Greeley/Weld Enterprise Zone
Locations in Weld County that have enterprise zone (EZ)
designation have met state mandated distress criteria. Companies
located within the EZ boundaries are eligible to earn a variety of
state income tax credits based on the company's investment in
equipment, jobs, etc.
Weld/Larimer Revolving Loan Fund
Upstate administers the Weld/Larimer Revolving Loan
Fund, utilizing federal funds to provide gap financing for companies
that expand the job base in rural Weld and Larimer Counties.
Greeley Community Development Fund
Upstate administers this important fund that extends
financial assistance to qualifying companies expanding or locating
in Greeley.
