July 31, 2019 – Very exciting news, the Smucker’s Uncrustable facility is officially making lunch’s favorite sandwich! Upstate attended the ribbon cutting at the beautiful new facility in Longmont and it was great to celebrate with CEO Mark Smucker and his team, whom we have worked with since 2016. The Uncrustables facility represents a significant investment in Weld County and Northern Colorado.
The opening of this facility reflects a tremendous amount of work and collaboration with our partners at the County, the State, Metro Denver EDC and the City of Longmont. Our public and private partners did an amazing job in coming together to support Smucker’s new operation and enabled them to complete this project ahead of schedule! Along the way so many consultants, private contractors and public entities facilitated the economic development process to bring this together congratulations to everyone.
