Greeley, CO – October 23, 2026 – ScottsMiracle-Gro has officially opened its new manufacturing and distribution facility in Lochbuie, marking a $30 million investment and another significant addition to Weld County’s manufacturing sector.
The company celebrated the opening with a ribbon-cutting at its new facility at 1338 County Road 39. Developed by Golden-based ARES LLC, the approximately 70,000-square-foot facility sits on a 52-acre site and is expected to create 35 full-time jobs in Lochbuie and the surrounding Weld County region. The state-of-the-art operation will manufacture ScottsMiracle-Gro products and serve retailers throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
This project is another example of the continued momentum taking place along Weld County’s I-76 corridor. The facility was originally permitted in unincorporated Weld County but is annexing to the Town of Lochbuie. The project was mutually supported by Lochbuie and Weld County to bring jobs to the region.
